I work better with deadlines.

So... I'm heading back into the workforce next Monday. Well sorta. I'm doing an Educational Assistant role at a school just round the corner from our place; working with 7-9 year olds from 8.30 - 3.30pm daily.

I've been very honest about this mothering journey, perhaps a little too much at times. I'd like to think that I am presenting a fair view of motherhood; there are rewards (which are more evident AFTER 6 months) along with a whole host of challenges that you cannot prepare adequately for. I was so naive to think I'd be spared the post partum hair loss. 3.5 months into motherhood I started shedding a scary amount of hair. It was everywhere!!

The constant tying pulls at the roots which exacerbated the situation so I decided to chop off a good 6 inches of my hair. and this is the result:

Why on earth would we (majority of us anyway) willingly put up with sleep deprivation and loss of personal freedom?

I love Clover but I missed the pre-baby life I had.

This is: I don't know if it's worth having a child. I don't know if the time, effort and expenses are worth her smiles.

- What's with grandmothers who like to ka jeow (disturb) their grandchild at the most inopportune times e.g. when Clover is obviously dozing or even fucking asleep in manduca with ME CARRYING HER ON MY CHEST? And don't keep fucking tell her she is lovely, let her fucking sleep.
